Excitement Galore!!! It’s time to kick off!


Thursday 14, June is all set to kick off the FIFA WORLD CUP 2018 involving 32 teams with 64 games to be played in a months’ time in 12 venues across 11 cities. The finalsis scheduled to take place on 15 July, in the same stadium of Luzhniki, Moscow, where the opening match would, by this time have taken place.  The two teams making their first advents are Iceland and Panama. It is interesting to dig a bit deeper into the history of the FIFA WORLD CUP while we get ready for the Majestic game.

The focus of International Labour Organization (ILO), launched in 2002, was mainly to learn the global extent of childlabour, actions to be initiated and efforts required to eradicate it completely. The little town of Madukkarai near Coimbatore in the state of Tamil Nadu is in the Guinness Book of World Records for successfully bestowing the largest recycling message to the world. The ‘Green Friends’, a small association of women counting up to a minority of 50, wholeheartedly supports this great venture which today has turned out to be an expert waste management system.
