Know more about Akshaya Triteya

Akshay Tritiya is considered as the festive and holy day for Hindus and Jains all over India. Hindus celebrate Akshaya Triteya as the birthday of Lord Parasurama, the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Jains observe the day to honor Tithankara Rushabhanatha’s ending of one year fasting. The day is also believed as the initiation of recital of great Indian epic Mahabharata by VedVyasa .Beside the holy river Ganga is also believed to flow down to earth from heaven on Akshaya Triteya.

Generally Akshaya Triteya is observed as the auspicious day for initiating new undertaking, to buy gold and to perform good rituals. Let’s take a new step to bring happiness and prosperity in our actions on this auspicious moment.
